OUR KINDERGARTEN BOY

We are so proud of him. Doesn't he just look so big? After a weekend of breathing the campfire, he was wheezing. So, he had to do breathing treatments before, during, & after school. He was a trooper though!! For all of you that are wondering which lunch box he chose.....it was the Superman! I was a bit distraught at having him away from me all day....but, his Daddy was sooooo worried about him!! He sent him with lunch money, (just in case he decided to eat in the cafeteria) & a full lunch box. He did great, just like a pro!!!

MEET THE TEACHER

Oh, what handsome boys!! They both found where they would sit in their classrooms. Everett was a bit shy, but seemed to like his teacher. Parker wasn't sure he wanted to go back to school. He was disappointed that his best friend Robby wasn't in his class. He has lots of other friends though & he liked his teacher too.

TO COOL FOR SCHOOL

Hollister? Roxy? Fox? Hurley? Aeropostale? Yep, she's got the look!! Here she is saying a sweet goodbye to me. I was the loser mother with the camera sticking out of the car. Sheeeesh, she was sooooo embarrassed!!

A CAMPING WE WILL GO!!

It seems so much has transpired in the last two weeks. There have been vacations, camping & back-to-school stuff galore. So, I have lots to catch up on. The weekend before school started for the boys, we went camping with Branden's side of the family.



This is the second year that we have honored this tradition. We are looking forward to many more years to come. The Hoopes family can not say camping with out including rain in the same sentence. I must admit that last year was a small flood, whereas this year was just passing thunder clouds. And, we were prepared!!!

Our accommodations show that we were ready for anything that mother nature was willing to throw at us.



We were able to fit 3 queen sized blow-up mattresses in our tent. I can't imagine trying to sleep on the rocks & dirt. We had uninvited visitors every night. We always knew when they were close--by the lovely skunk smell. Long after everyone had tucked in for the night, the skunks could be heard inspecting our camp.
The kids kept very entertained by practicing shooting cans with their little BB Guns. The axes were a draw as well....not a safe one, I might add. And, after the kids got tired of eating s'mores, they just started to burn the marshmallows.

SAVING THE WORLD

On Tuesday, August 5th, the earth was invaded by aliens. Our contacts have informed us that robots are helping them. We have only one hope, Spy Kid--Agent P & his trusty Spy Dog--Agent E. Their mission? To save their families from this evil invasion. Under this invisibility blanket, only humans & animals are kept from alien sight. The smaller lump is the Spy Dog & the larger Agent P, himself. He has reported that the battle between the humans, their Spy Pets & the aliens is VERY dangerous. Can they save us?
