SOCCER BOYS

Now, these pix were taken using my phone...due to the fact that we were running late to practice & I forgot the camera. Park was trying to squeeze in a bit of homework at Everett's practice. They are on different teams, because of the difference in their ages. Everett thinks that he is on both his team & Parker's team. Hey, both teams are playin' soccer, right? Such sweet boys!!

HOOPES SUNDAY

Our church time recently changed to 8:00am. We are spiritually fed & home by 11:00, now. This left our sweet family with lots of time for togetherness & being silly. Everett convinced his Daddy to take a break from the Olympics long enough to watch Superman Returns. (C.)Which lead to a house full of Super Heroes. (E.)The littlest one even practiced flying. (G.)We baked cookies...two kinds, Chocolate Crinkles & Snickerdoodles! (D.)Branden has been working super hard on our yard & at the office...he caught some much needed shut-eye. (B.)Lunch was a mixture of Mexican & pasta. Half enjoyed tacos, the other noodles with white sauce. We were visited by our great Home Teachers, Todd Cederstrom & Lee Steele. We watched lots of Scooby Doo & eventually Branden was able to turn the Olympics back on. (H.)Everett & I created a Playdoh zoo, (A.)Kamarin finished up her homework & (F.)Parker read about Spiderman. It was a great day!! (I.)And, this Everett's hidden talent!

I included the names of my kids, because I think sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between my boys. I love that my kids love each other....most days!! *wink*

RIDING THE BUS

On the third day of school, the boys decided that they wanted to ride the bus. Especially Everett!!! He was ready for the next leg of his school adventure to begin. With his brother, patiently behind him, he boarded the bus. I insisted that the boys sit together...they found a seat and off they went. That night Everett said that the bus was noisy, but he thought it was a fun ride.
